100 days and counting until 2008 Games

The countdown has now reached 100 days until the open of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Billions have been spent to remake Beijing into a modern city to host the games this summer. So now the question is can the IOC and China manage to turn the focus back to the games and away from the rampant political slant of late. The Beijing Olympics became political as soon as the IOC awarded the Games to China seven years ago.
